ok lets start with the intake. How much do you want to spend?

Some good mods would be remove the air box lid, put in a high flow filter, replace the stock 32mm carb with a 36mm+ carb, better reeds

Cost in the order i listed them:
free, $30, ~$50(ebay), $40

exhuast: this is where it gets expensive. get a LRD or FTZ pipe and silencer

finally rejet it correctly and you have some nice power already

It could be bogging for a ton of reasons. Carb, or worn out motor out top end would be my first off hand guesses. I'd get a bearing kit off e-bay(60-85) that includes all the bearings on the bike.

There are lots of things. These, of course, are limited by money. I'm sure it could use new a arm bushiings, and tie rod ends. This would take up the play in the steering, and tighten up the front end. Having the head shaved is a cheap way to make a little power, if you are going to do any motor work. Then you can have the ports cleaned up.

You can't bore an engine, or port them either. Take them to a reputable machine shop.
