how often should the greese nipples be greased

 

Koller, what kind of time have you put on the bike, and what kind of conditions? do you ride in a lot of dust?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] it does mention maintenance intervals for greasing in your manual, but under really dusty or muddy conditions you might want to grease a little earlier.

Where does it mention them in the manual???? I looked hard, but maybe I missed it. I do them every 3 months or so. And, they are darn hard to get to because I have a Works shock and it is bigger than stock.

 

Recon, i could be wrong but it seems like i remember seeing this in the regular maintenance, section of the manual, mine is in a friends truck so i don't have access to it right now.

 

The service manual says at 1 month and every 3 months after that, but like what was said earlier it depends alot on where and how you ride. Too often is better than too little!!
