the z is a great wheelie machine. in my opinion it is much easier than a raptor to get up and stay up. and yes you can really wheelie in 4th gear just punch the gas and give a little jerk on the handlebars.

A 13t front sproket will really help out, I noticed a huge difference with hig hspeed wheelies after the smaller sproket.

Z838mx....finally somebody else that wheelies in 5th. When i tell people i can wheelie in 5th gear they tell me im full of crap untill i show em. Just let off the gas a little and pin it and jerk and it will come up no problem. This is on dirt that im talking about. I cant do it on blacktop, which seems really weird to me. It could be just because im afraid of puttin the bike on the grab bar on blacktop but it seems much easier in hard packed dirt to me. Personally i think 4th is the best gear to ride a wheelie for a long ways. My KFX400 seems like it will stay up in 4th as long as nothings in the way.

I can do it on blacktop but its tough 4th is the best gear to bring it up in but ill shift into fith sometimes. Im more about slow wheelies I like them more. its more of a challange to go so alow your about at a stop. but Ill show anyone a 4th or 5th gear wheelie that does not belive me.
