got a new (96 LT 80)
#1
I just got my daughter a Lt 80 in really good shape. It's my first Suzuki other than a vehicle but I know they make a good product. It seems like a solid little bike. I just noticed the little chain and cog on the rear end...what's the deal on that? Does it ever need adjusted ? My daughter loves it and am teaching her the basics. Any info on this unit is appreciated as I don't have a manual for it yet.

Jham,
One thing to consider, the Suzuki is a little on the narrow side. It feels tippy in some corners. You might want to put some wider tires the rear to help stabilize the quad. One of our members did that to his nephews quad & it really helped.
You will really like that quad, we have 3 of them in our club for the young riders.
Good luck

I have a 1990 lt80 and a 91(parts bike). The 80 is a bulletproof little bike. very reliable. All I have done is repair the starter, no other problems! The former owner added a headlight which works pretty well. My son just chose the bike over his former yamaha moto-4 80. I sold the moto-4 as soon as he started riding the lt-80 since the lt has suspension and I didn't want him to change his mind. ps........my son is 5 yrs old.
