It's all a matter of tuning....sometimes it'll be right on the first time, but most of the time your going to have to tweak it to get the performance your looking for. It can take as little as an hour or as long as a day depending if you have predefined jet sizes, settings, and the right equipment......as I like to call it trial and error. Unfortunately, for this quad, no one makes a jet kit for it yet (I called Dynojet and they don't have one yet, no matter what all the other sites say...there is a part # for it...but it doesn't exist). So, that being said, the only way to rejet it is to purchase new Mikuni Main and Pilot jet needles in a few plus sizes to have around for making your adjustments.

Stock Z250 Jet sizes:
Main Jet = 125
Pilot Jet = #20
Needle on 2nd Groove
