friend is looking to buy a pipe, wat is the best, and cheapest for the z400? he dont wanna spend more then 300. he would like to get a kit/ jet and filter w/ it. but the pipe would be good enoug. wat u guys suggest. for the best power/ and sound

A slip-on is all your gonna get for under $300, and you'll be just about as well off drilling out the pea shooter and jetting it. For $482.95 ctracing is hitting the highest hp on dyno and comes with jet kit. To me that's very reasonable considering it's a tunable exhaust.

If I go full system, Im getting CT, if just a slip on, Im gonna go Pro Circuit. The PC hits earlier than any other slip on, I might even go with the full PC exhaust.

The HMF pipe is awesome....

 

according to dirt wheels magazine, the ct pipe is the biggest hp gainer.
