Default Factory Jetting for 92 lt250r

In the clymer book it says that the factory main jet is 240 and the needle clip is in the third grove and the needle jet is 6pf63. I pulled mine out and the main jet was a 270? Was someone in there before I was?? It had the factory pipe on. The needle clip was second from the top. I put Fmf Phatty on it and went up two steps on the main and down one on the clip.. Trying to figure out if I should restart the jet process. It does have more power and runs fine.

Ya someone allready changed it. My 91 had a 280 main with a FMF pipe but ran just a hair rich so I went to a 270.

Dont know cuase Ive not taken the carb apart, just pulled the main jet from the bottom. On my past quads/bikes I never moved the needle clip, just changed the main jet. I think the middle position is stock for the clip.
