I may be looking for a new quad to run in the 12 Hours of ATV America race next year and if this one can handle the beating and has the power as I've been told I will seriously consider getting one!
Hey PrairieWrench does this mean you won't "borrow" my engine, Ekla shocks and what ever else you took off my 700? It was hell being an official with just a frame to ride on! LOL Since I have my name on the first King Quad that our dealer gets in doesn't mean you get to do one of your torture test on it!!!! But I know between you and our mutual friend Mr. Cooper you guys will be riding it before I even get to see it!!!! I don’t stand a chance between you two! P.S. Are you sure you put my Prairie back together right? I sure the only reason I crashed last week is because you sabotaged the P700 ‘cause it certainly could not have been my riding skills. By the way have you replaced the Big Horn tires yet?

Yes Team Diamond G Racing, which was owned by PrairieWench and myself, raced agains a Grizzly in the 12-Hours of ATV America and they had so much experience changing axels they changed it in under ten minutes about the same amount of time it took us to find and repair a short in the teather. This was the Grizzlies nemous last year in the GNCC. Hopefully this year they will have the problem resolved. I will be in Dallas to inspect the track were the first 6 Hours of ATV America Qualifier will be ran on Feb 21 and I'm considering running over to Gilmer on the way home to watch friends run the race.

Prairiewrench please give me my P700 back so I can hide it!!!!! I'm still in shock from walking up and seeing my frame sitting on the crates at the 12-Hours. My Doctors tell me that this event caused me to develop a sever case of PQS (Post Quadless Syndrome). I've never been the same since!!!!

Well just saw on another site an Admin emailed Suzuki directly and they confirmed everything already mentioned here plus the oil sealed muliti plate braking system. So somehow they are incorporating this in the IRSof the King Quad. Also Suk said it would have new next generation drive belt for improved wet performance, whatever that means.

could it be they will offer something like what is in the Saturn Vue and Nissan Moreno with a steel belted CVT tranny? Not sure on the mechanics of that transimission, but it would be interesting to see more things carry over from cars to ATV's, just on a smalller scale.

OK guys I'll try not to make the track as rough this year!!! You thing that track is fun, wait until we move the race to the new OHV Park. 2,000 plus acres of quarries!!!! With a little bit of luck we will hold the race on the OHV Park land but the park won't officially be opened yet. Just think what we could do with 2,000 acres. If I get my way the camp grounds will be layed out with 120 cement slapped camping spots with hook ups, 60 on each side with 100' between them. That would provide camping 51 weeks out of the year and an outstanding pit lane the week of the 12-Hours with plenty of room to race between the pits. Being one of the owners of the 12-Hours I didn't feel people would take me kindly hanging out with Jim (Prairiewrench) and our team. Jim tells me we'll be back in 2004 after listening to him for two months that he would never do another race again. I think he almost got ulcers!!! LOL Now he can't wait and if I get a new Suzuki which I well if it's not a manual, I'm hiding it until after the race!!!!! Jim got a hold of mine to "borrow" my Elka shocks and when I walked by the pits my engine was missing!!!! What a friend. All the guys on the team said it was awsome being next to you guys. Where you the one's with the chile I keep hearing about? I you are I expect to be invited for chile next year! LOL Catch you guys later. Hey Prieriewench, thanks for doing my driveway while I'm down here in TX . . . Barb really appreciated it.
