Default Zilla motor rebuild

I am rebuilding my lower end on my zilla and was wondering what would be best to use to clean the cases (from all the oil and gasket junk). I was afraid that if I used the wrong stuff I would ruin the seals if I used the wrong stuff. Any ideas?

arent you replaceing the seals? i would be.
anyway my suggestion would be a good quality brake cleaner. removes all grease and oil, plus leaves no residue.
good luck

If your splitting the cases, get some gasket remover from napa or somewhere. It works great to remove the yamabond. You don't have to scrape and reck the surfaces.
