Dynojet Kit - Lid on or Off?
#1
Hey guys,
Picking up a dynojet kit tomorrow and was wondering what the best setup is considering I still have the stock pipe. I'm reading conflicting reports from different websites all using dynojet dyno run data.
Thanks in advance.

I took of my baffle(left the snorkle on) took off the lid, and put on an outerwear(and K&N).
If you want to keep your filter get an outerwear, its worth it.
I kept the snorkle on to kinda keep that gaping whole closed, at least the water doesn't have a straight shot to the filter, it has to hit a target alittle higher up.

It is just the 3 screws that hold in the SA however, the inside of the can is blocked off behind the screen with 3 small "pipes" at the bottom letting the exhaust out of the can. It sounded like crap with the SA out and I'm not sure based on that design if it really adds that much restriction compared to the wall built inside the pipe.
Looks like I'll be the guinnea pig to see if 03 pipes will fit 04s.
