Fuel mileage Vinson 500
#3
Hello fellow maritimer. I will have to ask my step-father for exact figures but I will say that they are excellent on fuel. We went out on a 8 hr trip last summer and I had to switch to reserve at 140 kms and he didn't. They have a large tank, 19 liters which helps on long runs. I will speak to him tonight and try and get some fuel mileage figure out of him.

I have filled the tank up - ridden 72 miles of Hatfield-McCoy Trails on one, and still had 1/4th of a tank left.

I been getting a litle over 110 miles per tand and havent used reserve yet, but always carry a 2 gallon jug just in case. By the way mine is 5-speed and got 1100 miles in 3 months. Good luck and Happy Atving.

Ya, on my 03 Eiger manual i get about 130km/tank maybe 100km if i ride it pinned. But my friend he has a 2000 Scrambler automatic and a 20004 Grizzly Automatic and they guezzel way more gas than mine does. So is the manual better for fuel economy. Also, I was riding my uncle's 600 Grizzly (automatic) with Mudzillas and felt as if my 400cc Eiger had just as much or more torque. Is this the deal with automatics?
