How long will a tank of gas last in a Z400 with stock jets in a Hare Scambles. I know it will depend on the type of track and how fast you are riding, but will it last 1 1/2 to 2 hours going at a good speed?

 

1 1/2, absolutely. But if you have a really fast paced course, the 2 hour mark could be pushing it. Some of the KFX/Z's will stop quick for less than a 1/2 gallon just real quick so they won't have to worry about bogging out waiting for reserve to kick in. An IMS or Clarke tank may set you back just under $200, but with the extra gallons (4 gallon tank), it will save you that 15-30 seconds stopping for fuel and will handle 2:15+ times incase it is a long course with 30 min. laps...have been in that situation too!!
