Zilla mods. Who's the best to do it?
#1
Jug is already .060 over but we intend to bore to .080 over. Want the ports done along with the bore job, head mods and so on. Who is the best at the machine work and has a lot of experience with the Zilla? Want to go to the local drag races with no fear of getting beat. Names and contact numbers would be greatly appreciated.
Would like to find a 4" extended swing arm also. Any ideas where to find one?

If you want to learn how to build a better Zilla, sign up for www.macdizzy.com. It's a free forum, and there's an LT forum. Look for the LT500 motor RX. It's some of the best info available and probably more than any one builder knows about the Zilla these days. I can't answer who is best nowadayz, but there was an extended aluminum swingarm on Ebay just the other day but I can't find it. must have ended auction. Keep looking there daily or a new one will cost you $800 to $1000. Search under lt 5oo, lt 500, lt500r, quadzilla, & quadracer as everyone lists auctions differently. Lonestar sells them also. www.hsdracing.com may be able to help as well.

I learned the hard way.... I paid a 'puppy' shop big $$$$ to make my 500 'faster than anything else out there' only to come home, and have my *** handed to me!
After I learned what was going on.... I realized that you cannot get good quality motor building unless you do it yourself.
There is alot to it, but it's not rocket science... besides, there's nothing better than to outrun alot of the 'big boys' and have them come ask you 'who built your motor?'.... "I did!"
Good luck!
