Can someone please tell me the top speed of a z400 and how it compares to a raptor, 400ex, and trx250r; not just speed but handling and durability.

My 2004 Z400 GPS at 66mph (still breaking it in) sons 2003 Z400 (piped and jetted) 73.4mph. Friends Raptor (pipe, jetted and sprocket) 85mph. Sorry don't know trx or 400ex numbers.
The Z is the best handling bike I have ridden in a long time. I'm have never been a Susuki fan but it seems they got the Z400 just right for most of us non racers.

 

We clocked my budys z-400 at 71mph in front of the truck and 74 mph behind the truck. stock with the end cap on the exauhst off.

 

My Z stock will top out at about 70 M.P.H

 

My stock 03 z400 got 70mph (gps) and my buddy's KFX400 piped and jetted got 76 mph (gps).

 

i saw a stock one with wheelie bars go 64... i htink he was topped out... maybe not tho..

 

mine is stock but a lil faster than you guys.. a lil over 70 here but her ein alaska we are at sea level and the air is very dense

 

73, and Im stock and at sea level on a chilly day. clocked it down a road gps style

 

70's seems really fast for a 400... my pred is quite a bit faster than a Z.. ive dragged many of them and mine stock is said to top out at 76 or so...
73 is more what a shee runs stock and i dont think it will touch a shee on top end.

 

a banshee is faster than a perd so how can the pred do 76 and the shee do 73 banshees are more like 75/77 tops
