vinson power?

So where are these HP figures coming from? None of the big 5 offer hp figures on their web sites. How about some hard facts instead of "well that's what I heard". It's a lot easier dealing in facts instead of rumors.
I found the Dynojet web site has some numbers. Dynojet seems to be a very popular company for rejetting cycles. Remember any HP gain claim is usually way overstated.
http://www.dynojet.com/newgraphs.shtml
Published number are usually at the flywheel instead of the ground. This way the numbers can look skewed quite a bit.
V581, " did not say a 22hp increase. thats what i was stateing a rubicon has...."
I stand corrected on this. 12hp gain over stock 34 (total 46) is still about a 35% gain. And now you want 60rwhp. Almost double factory hp (wherever 34 came from). Not for all the tea in china dude.
Still waiting for 1) video or all this and 2)where are the stock hp numbers posted.

robnhouston i saw the stock figure for the vinson's hp at the crank on a dyno sheet somewhere in comparison to the HMF piped vinson and the stock was making some where in the mid 30's, like 34 or 36. I think that v581's number is believable with the mods he has. It doesent take much to make one of these motors to make alot of power just make them breath better, espesialy with a cam.

So what's the name of this dealer? I'd like to call them. When we become neighbors I'll by all my quads from them. So I guess they ride everyones new ATV around for several days to break it in, then put it on a dyno because a dyno would really stress out a new motor (so they say). Plus you indicated in another post your new Vinson would only do 55 new but is much faster after an extended breakin period so the stock brand new dyno test your dealer did would actually be very low in hp ratings.
And more contridicting info here. Now you say you got your numbers for dirt wheels magizine. I thought your had it dynoed. So the numbers you quote are from a mag and then your atv has been dynoed twice now. Once when new and once when modded.
See any problems here? I don't think anyone is buying it. Maybe you should write some of this stuff down to keep track of it.

seems like your the only one not beliveing me. mabey it is because you drive a poor proformance king quad.
when the dealers buy a bike, usually the owner, or one of the sales people have one , or a parts guy , or owner, or mechanic. thats a lot of people, espacially at a large dealer.
now they ride the bikes for a while, and then do it. i think it is funny how you put words in my mouth. i got my bike dynoed once wize A$$, just to let you know. i have also gotten my information on how much a stock vinson produces by the following sorces.
Joe Mack at HMF engineering.
ATV action, and dirt wheels had a little write up.
Dyno Jet has dyno charts stateing this.
Go look at the dyno charts and you will see....
last sorce, moroneys cycle, largest dealer in new york state.
oh and one more thing i would hope to never become neibors with a person who puts words in others mouth. thank god you are all the way down in texas with all the mexicans.
its nice to know that when someone asks a question?. you put you nose where it does not belong, you do not even own a vinson, like the rest of us here, so before you say something about the vinson mabey you should know you @$$ from your elbow when you talk and get a clue about these bikes before you blow off you mouth.
hmm seems like you are either jelous or just mad at something and are taking it out here. thanks i appriciate it.
contrary to whatever you say ever other vinson owner stands behind me 100% on my facts and numbers, being i have always been an honest person, to bad that all you want to do is freak out at me and say thing like OH YOU PUT IT ON A DYNO TWICE THEN, AND DEALERS RIDEING YOUR NEW BIKE? WHATs up with that, i got my vinson with 2mi on it thats it. so where are you comeing from?

I'm coming from what you are writing...
you said:
"um. thanks suzuki 4 ever. and i got my hp numbers straight from dirt wheels mag. and when my dealer gets a new bike they dyno it, so go figure? "
1) First you got your numbers from a dyno job your dealer does every summer. Remember 200 people showed up for this deal. The dyno (with no printout) said 46rwhp. (I didn't see this on the Moroney's Yearly calendar).
2) Referencing your post above, your dealer dynos every new bike. I would assume this to be yours as well.
So I count 1+1 = 2, as in your bike was dynoed 2 times. So why should you be quoting dyno numbers from a magazine when you should have your stock dealer dyno chart and the summer one after the mods. Dang to bad you don't have the dyno chart(s).
RedRide913....I did find your numbers posted in some dyno tests to be the same. 35.6 to be exact.
As far as Moroneys? Well all I can say is that they do exists. When I called I waited on the phone for 15 minutes for a sales person, never answered. Called service twice and nobody picked up. Voice mail after a several minute wait.
Hey V581, I just got transfered to New York. Looking for a place around New Windsor. You live nearby? Looks like a nice area.

yes, hey man lets put all of this behind us, since now we will be dealing with the same dealers, and trails. i live in monroe, about 25 min from new windsor. does it even matter if it has 46rwhp or 5? like i have said so many time before i am damn sure happy to have a quad. and i got one that fits me. as far as your suzuki kq, i stand behind all other suzuki owners 100%, not out to **** people off.
hey man while you are down here in new york, you should check out orange county choppers, in rock tavern, they are like 30 min away.
also. as far as trail systems go. you can go to walkill which is near tetz concreat, and modena, lembo lake, great rideing there also.
mabey we can try and meet up some time for a ride, since i go to new windsor many time a week to other offices, right near jim moroneys cycle, there is a building called TECTONIC engineering, this is one of our branch offices, so as you can see i am very farmilar with the area.
lets put all what was said behind us, and to tell you the truth this argueing gets us no where., lets just enjoy our bikes, and the sport.

Your spoiling all the fun man.
BUT if you going to claim your getting 60rwhp(after more modifications), hmmm, well I'm gonna have to see a dyno chart. Oh and some video. We always like to see pictures.
Deal?
