What are some sighs that the rear axle/chain adj is not aligned?
Hi, I have a 03 Z 400 and I am trying to adjust the chain and it is driveing me crazy, what are some sighs that the the rear is not aligned properly? are the hash markets pretty close? where can I messure from? I think the front axle to teh rear axle has a few to many variables?
Also if I turn in a complete circle to the left the quad wants to tip more than if I turn in a circle to teh right. Thanks a a lot

the best way is to do what i wwrote the last time.trust me on this,it is the most accurate.the wheelie method doesn't work because even if one of the wheels was pushed in all the way,it would still go straight, only that the quad would look like it's leaning to one side

The wheelie method wont work, that will just show how equal the rear tire pressure is.
Jack up the rear end, and spin the tires, either by hand or with the motor and look at the chain and sproket, if its crooked youll see it.
Or just use the hash marks, they should be the most accurate way.
