Default Oil Filter Misery..

I Have 40 Miles On My Vinson And Im Changin The Oil. Im Going To Use The Suzuki Oil And A Fram Oil Filter. This Oil Change Is Just A Temporary One Until I Take It In For The 100 Mile Service. At That Time Im Going To Put A K&N On. Will The Fram Be Ok.. People Keep Telling Me They Suck. But Its Just Temporary.

Default Oil Filter Misery..

Ive used fram filters for many years, on many vehicles. Never had a problem. I know what you mean though...i hear alot of bashing, and friend of a friend stories.
Ive never seen any negative facts, or scientific reasoning, explaining why they arent any better than any other filter
my 2 cents

Hey Mav i have 2000mi on my bike if you cared, lol, i highly recomend the locker to any real mudder, took me and a bud three hrs to install, unbelivable rock crawling abilities, and if you are serious bout muddin this is the part. you can't even notice it in the bike in 2wd and i 4wd the steering is not that much harder.

I Have Already Looked Into The Locker And I Will Most Likely Get It Sometime This Spring/Summer.

Im Just Confused. Everyone Says Not To Use Fram.. But Then Some Say Use Em.

I have been servicing small engines full time for over 15 years. Thats a lot of oil changes. I would NEVER put a fram in any machine of mine. I have take out far too many collapsed paper, glue comes undone, junko frams. Just took one out of a Rubicon a couple days ago that looked like your dog chewed on it for awhile, LOL. What's more, I'm not the least bit impressed with emgo either, same thing happens with them once in awhile. IMO, you're better off leaving your dirty OE filter in than changing to either of these two brands.
