Default Big Gun Exhaust

Anyone got it (or know anyone who has it) on their Z400? I've read some good stuff about these pipes for the 400EX and I'm in the market for a new pipe for my Z

i think it sounds great... it really barks... but not so loud that it annoys you.

not to believe evrything i hear, but my dealer told me not to get it..they said "it falls apart, and" its an exspensive p.o.s" did you look at the yoshmire pipes, maybe hmf.. there a great pipes from what people tell me. but maybe you should take hozeds words of advice, he seem to know from experience..or just had good luck with it.

LOL, well I take forever to pick everything out so it'll be a little bit still before I actually buy one, but there is something I dont really understand... jetting. Can you just explain jetting to me real quick?

Thanks,
Jesse

the jets determine how much gas your quad gets... the more mods that you put on that increase air flow or increase the exhaust out of the engine require higher jetting. the more you put out.. the more you need i guess is a good way to explain it...
jetting is 1 thing that every one should know how to do...

once you do it once.. its cake from there on out... its just learning to take your carb apart and locating the jets.

So when people say, "You need to jet it" does that mean you need to adjust the jets to let more fuel pass through or does that mean you need to buy bigger jets and install bigger jets?

Thanks
