Default standing a vinson stright up or on it's side to service it

standing a vinson stright up or on it's side to inspect it and install my new skid plates. will it damage it?
how do you guys stand a big mechine like this stright up on it's tail?

This probaly won't help, But I used my winch. I hooked it to the rafters in the garage and pulled it up.

Lock the back brakes, grab on down low on the front end and give 'er. If it doesn't sit back on the rear rack you'll need a prop stick.

just turn your gas petcock off so you dont flood and drip out fuel. you might want to turn it off and run it for a sec to burn out some of the fuel that could leak out the overflow
