Yamaha660r, Im just wondering what makes your raptor so special other that its top speed? In the right hands the v-force can do everything the raptor can do ( in my opinion ). I have lots of friends that have raptors that wouldnt attempt the jumps I do on my V-force. I find the automatic to be an advantage when it comes to launching the v-force on jumps because it has so much power in the 0-30mph range. I respect the raptor because I cant keep up at the higher speeds, but thats it.

ROCKSVFORCE-

Just because you do jumps on your V that your friends won't do on their Raps doesn't mean they aren't capable. It could just be your are a better rider or more confident with your skills. Sorry, but I just don't like when people compare what they can do to what their friends can do, because it means nothing.

Dont know how much money you are wanting to spend, but it sounds like you ride in about the same stuff as I so and I love my DS650 Baja X, only thing is no reverse. But as for everything else it is great. Its tough too. I know that the Vforce goes through the mud better than any 2 wheel sport quad on the market.

bulldogz, I feel the same way, It is mostly rider ability! The main point I was trying to get across to yamaha660r is the v-force gets alot of bashing from yamaha riders and its not a grasshopper! I also have friends with z400's, 400ex's, and even a z250 that can walk all over me with rider ability. It just gets the blood a little hot when someone is picking on your bike and I know the V-force is a very capable atv. Have a good night.

I havent heard about any clutch issues the frames are now updated and the axles havent been bending for a while I think it was a bad batch of axles.

The V Force is an ok quad. I don't like the fact they are very heavy. Most people wanting a sport quad don't like the auto tranny. And they just look more like grasshopper/utility then a sport quad like the Z, Raptor, YFZ, or Artic Cat.

Everyone buys their quad for a reason, I bought the Raptor for the power, top speed, and looks. I'm sureyou got your reasons for buying the V force, but I just don't see it.
