First time user of the forum.... I recently took the spark arrester and back plate off my muffler, does this give you more power, or can this hurt the performance of the quad?? next question is has anyone studded tires for their quad, should I stud the stock tires? or I was thinking of getting narrower rims and taller tires for the back to run here in the Michigan winter... any suggestions thankyou!

 

hey, i took the spark arrestor out of mine when i still used my stock pipe and noticed much better peformance, with the end open, it really opens it up and gives a nice deep rather loud sound, and better performance.

yeah it would definitly make it sound alot nicer but it take away some low end power
