bars for z250

Default bars for z250

i want to get tag bars for my z50. is it true that you cant get aftermarket bars for the z because of the yelow thing in the middle

yeah i think so, unless u want to eliminate all the lights and the key thats on the plastic part. Im just wondering y u would want new bars

yes you can get new bars!alls you have to do is drill holes in the plastic "someplace where its not an eyesore" and just install the lights and key switch there.

Yo! My brother-in-law bent his stock bars and bought a cheap set of the steel MSR bars. They were the ATV bend bars and everything fit fine! Didn't have to move anything! The cross bar(w/pad) just clears the "thingy" in the middle...Good to go!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I got ready to go for a trail ride the other night, decided to roll my bars forward, damn it feels pretty good now with the stock bars, might try that.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I found a good way to get the bend I wanted on my bars. I rolled mine over going around a corner 4th gear, throttle pinned. I love the way my bars feel now.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I was just testing the first clutch kit available on my Z250 for the local shop. They are working on putting it on there web site it is not quit done. Send me an email and I will send you a pic of the clutch, they have changed it a little though. melrinner684@msn.com

of course you can. Just get the renthal bars I love mine on my wolverine. My gauge cluster just fit under the cross bar but on the renthal bars the crossbar is removeable by taking off two allen key screws and vowalalala. I love my renthals the design is much much better for agressive riding I think.
