Default Lt-50 hard starts...please help

I bought my son a new Lt50 for christmas, and for the first few rides it would start without too much problem. But that was then, all restricters are off, and the plug is fine. Tank is full and I cant get anything to happen. Electric start would sure be nice about now. Please help, little guy wants to ride with dad. Oh its brand new if it matters.

Thanks, but I checked that. Dealer says its very cold natured. I say bull$#&^, it shouldnt be this hard. I've owned nothing but 2strokes until recently and have never had one this stubborn. Now that I'm thinking of it, does anyone know how too get more low-end out of this little bike. Thanks again.

You say all the restricters are off? Did any of them have a wire hooked to it or spring maybe that would trigger a switch or sensor? I know it sounds wierd but I would check for somethin like that....the thing is after all for a kid ....can never be to safe for those younguns

Thanks for the help, but I guess the dealer is right. I put a heater on the engine for about 10mins. and finally fired up after a several pulls. For those curious to how cold it is here, about 42degrees today. Not bad at all. Anyway I still think this little suzuk should start easier. Im still interested on any ideas to get more low-end out of it too, my boy is alot like his daddy, always wanting more. Happy Trails Yall

42 degrees isnt cold, i cant remember when it was 42 degrees!
My kids ride their old lt50 3 wheeler at 10. One thing ive noticed, the gas doesnt get used up very fast, so i try to only add enough each ride, to get it to 1/4 tank. That way it has fresh gas, and it seems to make a difference, those two strokes have such low compression, that fresh gas is important. And if possible use only pure gas, no ethenol blended gas should go in any two stroke motor. Keep an eye on the spark plug and have a spare one on the shelf in the garage. Next time its tough to start, pop the new one in.It also seems to start and run better, the more its used, if it sits for a couple of weeks, its hard to start.
