Standing Straight Up
#1
When you guys with Z400's or 250's stand your quad straight up on the back grab bar to work on it (like installing skid plates, ect), or to clean it, how do you keep it from flooding? Everytime I stand mine up to wash it to get good underneath everything it ends up flooding and I always need to replace the spark plug!

used one of those things(or buy one) where you can pull your quad up on to it and then crawl underneath it with your gogles on so you dont get all kinds of mud in your eyes thats what i do

I dont have a Z, but I have always just shut the fuel off, stood it up, and when done put it down. (Many quads)
Hold the throttle wide open (air) for a couple cranks to clear any extra fuel if needed.

also, check your airbox,,,,might be full of fuel (filter all wet with fuel), making it harder to start.
