UK, how has that plating held up? Did it turn blue near the engine after a few heating cycles?

not realy checked the colour of it and to be honest im embarresed to say ive not looked arter it at all, i ride on a beach thats always prety wet and ive not been cleaning the quad afterwards,

the turner pipe turned up as a factory finish bare metal, i knew it would be disasterous for the beach thats prety much why i had it plated, the platers recomended having nickel rather than chrome so i went with that,

i just dropped the quad to the shop to get my engine rebuilt and tuned so ill probably pick the pire up and try cleaning it up ill let you know if its discoloured at all from the heat,

Ha, I was right! That's one of the best pipes available! What the heck are you replacing it with? You could probably get it stripped, de-carboned, and replated chrome for $150-200. A new one with show chrome from Duncan Racing is about $320 before shipping and handling.

If your going to fully port your engine then maybe an LRD might be better. Aside from that, you've already got the best.
