I have a new z400. The list of mods are below. Is there anything else I can do to make it faster.

 

fst bore kit, or a 440 bore kit.

 

Anything else before I go for more displacement. Like something bolt on. I just finished cutting the fenders on it. It looks great now and it did make a difference.

i would recomend nerf bars before spending much money on performance parts. safety first[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
but you could try some radiator scoops and see if they help any.

dunno bout making it faster, but i would upgrade front suspension. back should be okay but wouldn't hurt

 

"Bump" ..... in this case means the originator is bumping the placement of his thread by replying with "bump" every now and then to keep it at the top of the Suzuki Forum. That way it gets some more attention, once the thread falls to the 2nd or 3rd page the number of views and replies declines greatly.

 

options include a higher compression piston, an intake/exhaust cam set, (you will need new valve springs if you decide on a cam set), larger carb/ dual carbs, aluminum airbox, and probably change the gearing some as well. all of these will make you faster, a new set of tires could too, depending on your application.
