Hell HP is a nice thing !!!!!!
I changed my lt over to Holeshots, these where a vast improvement over the stockers which tended to be very "loose" i.e. wheel spin city. I find the holeshots to give excellent traction. Possibly your rear shock needs servicing, if the damping especially the rebound is off this will cause the rear end to oscillate, this really upsets the power delivery and can cause a lot of wheel spin.
One of my friends actually shortened his swing arm in an effort to improve rear end traction, but then he was running a Yam 600cc fourstroke.......... in his LT chassis!!

Zukiracr,
You didn't state what type of riding you do, or what type of terrain you ride, But I have had great luck with my holeshot XCT's in the hard pack and woods riding. The tire I use for mud is the mud machine from sand tires unlimited, The realator's are great too (use them on my sportsman 500) but they are pretty heavy as with most mud tires and are harder on the bike than the lighter hole shots. See ya
Ps. You might want to try grooving your tires, by grooving some ***** off of the holeshots you will get more traction. Groove them uniformlly and do a little at a time, You can always take more off but you can't put them back on.

I have run 2 sets of ITP Holeshots on my quadzilla. They give fair traction, but then they just seem to "give up" after 6 months. Does anybody have any experience with Bandits? They say they are a cross with a mud tire and a sport tire. Sport tire type tread design with deeper tread than usual. What would work best for traction on loose gravel roads?

Thats the trouble with holeshots, their a great tire, but not designed for us trail riders. They are more of a race tire.
I am currently usung Cheng-Shin Trail Pros on my highly modified 250. They are a little heavier, but seem to work great in the mud an snow. They ride ruff on hardpack ground though, I guess ya cant have it all.

I run Bandit XC's...they are a heavy tire, but they seem to hold up real well on the trails....I did not like them on the track...They do have deep lugs and they Have a bit of side - bite ( I like to call it) ...meaning that the rear end was catching while trying to slide the rearend in tight corners... But with more throttle..that problem is gone.
But to answer your question. Yes, I like them alot...they work on the hardpack trails as well as some mud and such. I use holeshots on the track though...just because most mx tracks are pretty well groomed...and I don't feel I need a 6 or 7 ply tire for mx applications.

I just sold my LT230S and bought an LT250R quadracer (always wanted one) They are alike and different....but to the tires....This thing came with some new dirt tamer tires.....they are terrible. I had ITP blackwaters on the 230 and they were great. I think you will like them. I did trail riding and plenty of mud. The blackwaters worked great, though I got stuck once. These dirt tires are helpless in mud and always spin in sand, gravel, or hard surfaces. The blackwaters seemed to be a softer compound.
