justinjones, i dunno who your calling lucky. I had to pay for my Z250 and my Chevy Silverado. And the reason I said not to go with the smaller tires was b/c somebody told me to get bigger fronts for mine b/c they would get more bite for turning.
Just some advice, if your going to come into these forums you might want to gain some respect from people before you start bashing or else your gonna **** them off and then nobody will respect your opinion.
Also, Z250's can hang with bigger quads. I've beat a Z400 and was hanging with a Predator at Daniel's Ridge MX track. Just depends on the rider.

I'm talking about GTZF250 or whatever his name is, I'm definitely not talking about you. I'm not looking for respect, I'm just bored and trying to help out and I don't feel like sugarcoating things. I respect you, I just don't respect the fact you didn't list any of the positive aspects of a smaller dia. tire. they obviously have their advantages or all the pros wouldn't run them in MX and TT. Seems like a lot of people here think they know better than the pros.

I still stand by everything I said. ALL I ORIGINALLY MEANT WAS WHY WOULD YOU PUT RACING TIRES ON A NON-RACING QUAD! I really just don't see the point of modifying a Z250 when there are cheaper stock quads out there that are ten times better. The Z250 isn't even really a sport quad, it's an Ozark with different plastic and stuff. I haven't ever seen extended A-arms for them, or axles or anything... therefore I don't consider them a sport quad. It would be foolish to put 18" rear tires and 20" fronts on an Ozark and race it in MX, so why do that to a Z250. Why not just sell it and buy a cheaper blaster if you want to race an entry-level quad.

Whatever. That's just my two cents. I'm an idiot for even trying to help you guys out. It's like I'm from a different planet where Z250s aren't race quads.

dude, shut your piehole unless your gonna say something worth our time reading. The Z250 is classified as a Sport Quad. It just not a high performance one. And it isn't an ozark with different plastic. It has different inner engine parts, suspension, exhaust, transmission, tires, etc...

If that looks like a polaris to you, then maybe that's a good sign that you're not very bright.

Okay, now you're pissing me off. Maybe you and all your Ozark buddies should get a little more humble about what you're riding and when somebody with a real quad (ie: chain drive) tries to give you some friendly advice, don't call him out.
