I am sorry I don't know how to disconnect rev limiter. But I am interested in the Vinson. Thinking seriously about buying one in the next month or two. I love the new body style, don't you? It, for the price, has all the new options (2 or 4 wheel drive, up graded engine...). I have heard they are very dependable but how is the ride? Is it a softer ride than the Honda Foreman? The Foreman is my 2nd choice!

The vinson rides pretty good. It's not quite as good as a polaris or grizzly 660, but it does'nt have independent rear suspention either. I have a polaris explorer and a 660 grizzly, and i think i like the suzuki vinson the best. i've rode a 98 honda forman and it does ride better than that. Hope this info helps. I say buy a vinson, very powerful and sounds nice too.

Doesn't it have an 'override' button on the handle bar that by-pass the reverse limiter when you need it? My on prairie it's just below the 'start' button, and I know on Yamaha grizzlies you have to buy another aftermarket CDI that as no reverse limiter.

here you go, BTW for vinson auto only.
All of the wiring involved is over the left rear wheel.
Cut the blue/red wire to the CDI module. Tape the end to the CDI module. Connect the other blue/red end to the striped end of a diode. Connect the non-striped end of the diode to the white/red wire.
I used a 1N4001 diode for a total cost of $0.30. you can get one at radio shack.

grizzrider im glad to see a yamy rider switch to such a superior brand like suzuki. JK. Do you think the vinny is faster than your grizz? And scoops just about anything will ride better than a foreman they are the most utilitarian quads out there. I think the vinny is probly the best riding solid axle machine on the market.

I don't think the suzuki is as fast as the grizz. I've never really raced because of the cold and snow but i will in the summer. That grizz is pretty bad A** I bought the suzuki for the wife, but if it is faster i will have to keep it for myself. lol

I have raced with my prairie (when it was bone stock) against the Grizzly and Vinson. My prairie went up to 103 km/h, the Vinson 105 km/h and the Grizzly 108 km/h. Madning part on theses drags, I was always ahead of then leading until they slowly passed me once I'd hitted 103 km/h.

I finaly raced a 100% factory stock grizzly. Only difference is I have heavy 26-10-12 and 26-12-12 Mud Gear tires. The tires slowed my quad down. He won the race by a half quad leingth. I'm sure if I had my factory tires it would go the other way around.
