hey guys iam new and i wanna know how does your moddded z/kfx do against a yfz/ trx??????

 

Look at my mods below....can beat a stock YFZ pretty easily but have never raced a modded one nor a TRX.

 

they just did a comparison article on the main atvconnection page between the Z and the YFZ so check it out. I read it and liked it a lot.

 

dirtwheels did a test on yfz vs z440 vs pred a few months ago, yfz would take the z by half a quad length unless it was a longer drag then the z came back to win. On the track the yfz had the advantage, but the z was good. The trails they preferred the z. The pred came in last for all of them.

 

Hey bulldogz400 you have any problems with the Z440 kit over heating etc.?Also I was thinking about getting the ignition mod that increases the rev limiter to 8000 instead of 7000.Just don't wana burn something up or reduce the life of my atv.I know in about 3 or 4 years I will go with the 440 kit.

No problems over-heating at all!! The fan comes on pretty often but I've gone on all day dune trips at around 100 degrees and never had any problems. And about the ignition kit...the stock rev limiter is set at about 9000 RPM's, and the new Dyna lets it rev to 10500 RPM, plus advancing the timing to add more power.
