Z250 Jets
#3
As far as I know you can just go to the dealership and by single jets for like $4 or $5 each. I need to richen mine up too. Usually you skip the next two sizes up and go from there. Yeah I need to know how to take them out. Are they in the bottom of the carb or the top or what?

Heres a diagram of the carb, theres a plug (#41) thats covers the mixture screw, that may be all you need to adjust. If the motor is stock, the other jets should be fine. You need to remove the float bowl to get at the pilot and main jets, and remove the top, to get at the needle and clip.(#10 and # 12)

This is the deal. I took the baffle/spark arrester off and I like the sound and it runs good, but I checked the plug and its white (running lean right?). So i wanted to rejet so that I could safely run without it and maybe make some air box mods if I have to. Don't really want to do air box mods but if I rejett I might have to. This is just until I get a pipe of course.

Think I could just move my needle up a clip? Move the clip, down the needle, and that will richen up the midrange. If you modify the air box, or use a high flow air filter, you will need to rejet, or itll be too lean.
