King Quad Winch Mount?
#1
My wife and I have been enjoying our pair of
'99 KQs for almost a year. They are just about everything we want for the type of riding we like to do.
A "problem" I have run up against is trying to find a mounting plate/fair lead to mount my new SuperWinch with. Our dealer is pretty luke warm with mediocre service and parts assistance. They seem to be out of stock, provide the wrong stuff or, want the proverbial "arm and a leg" for the parts we have needed so far. I won't even quote what they wanted for an OEM rear tire. SHEESH! Also, I don't want to pay $75 to $100 from them when Cabella's lists package deals running about half that for the older Suzuki models.
Can any of you more experienced Suzukiers steer me to a source for a mounting kit?
Thank you in advance, The BombDumper

Bob, Thank you for your response and advice.
I will give a couple of the 4x4 specialty places a try.
When the rear axle boot and clamp were damaged on my wife's machine, we ended up with a boot from Suzuki and a clamp from an auto parts house. The correct boot from another dealer and the automotive clamp were one third the price of the incorrect
parts first supplied by our local dealer.
"Keep the Muddy side down" Thanks again, Don
