Default Newbe with questions!?!?

hello every one.. i just joined up with this forum.. and had a question.. i am looking into buying a couple differant Lt250's i saw a 1990 Lt250R for 1700 bucks. owner said he bought it 3 mo. ago and just dosent have time.. hes more of a hunting and fishing person. he said he completly rebuilt the engine and replaced everything.. unknown on engine condition before. had normal wear and tear on plastic.. thats all i know.. never flipped also.

then i found a 87 lt250R with the RM motor he said everything it all orignal even the tires .. he said it has no more then 80 hours TOPS but he said guessing arround 50.. same thing normal wear and tear.. for 800 bucks flipped twice. slightly bent handle bars, and cracks in light housing

then i just saw a 97 LT250.. i tried to search the forum but found nothing on a 97 lt240.. the add says it is a 2wd but when i did a search on the net i just saw a 4wd modal.. any one have more info on a unit like this? price $1900 in add

any one have ideas?

Thanks so much!

The 97 Lt250 is a completley different bike than the 87-92, so unless you want a four stroke work quad, don't get it. The 87 for $800 sounds really good. For the $100 that you save, you can pretty much fix any problems, and buy a bunch of goodies for it.

If your thinking of getting an LT that has an RM engine its probably worth dropping justin jones a PM as thats what he has,

i bought one myself (but thats a sore subject at the mo) just over a week ago, and got a proper one today

there are a few draw backs so look into it properly
