what do u guys think? can a 04 z400 stock beat a 400ex that has been piped and jetted on the mx track.

well, i know that stock vrs. stock the z will win. not by a mile but it will win. if the z was not piped and jetted and racing a 400ex that was then the race would be neck and neck. if both were piped the z will respond better the the mod.

 

I have seen it go both ways in trails. Stock z vs. piped and jetted ex. ( i know its not a track but same pricipal). I think it depends on the rider. In drags the z is faster. Not by much but still faster.

 

I have seen many races between my brothers stock KFX and our friend's piped 400ex, and no matter who is on the quads, the 400ex takes my brother's quad by about a quad length almost everytime.

 

when i 1st got my z i raced a piped an jetted 400ex and beat it and yea it does depend on tha rider but they put a few other people on it and i beat it every time
