Aftermarket axle on Zilla
#1
Who has one and how well is it holding up? I want to extend my rear tires with an aftermarket axle but have heard some negative feed back on some of the brands: bending, breaking, not covered by warranty, etc.

I would say that if you haven't broken your stock axle and you aren't doing massive jumps, I would go with a DuraBlue Eliminator. I had that on my Raptor and it was adjustable. I've heard some bad things about DuraBlue, but if you get any axle except their "Heavy Duty" stock-type replacement which wasn't any stronger than the 500s, then you'll be ok if all you do is trail ride, dunes, or some jumps. I think RPM and Lonestar also make axles for our quads. Lonestar's Axcalibar has a true lifetime warranty, replaced with no questions asked. I'm not sure about RPM, but I thought I saw them advertising an axle for the LT500.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Well, I certainly appreciate that kind of information. That's just what this forum is good for. No Durablue for me, because if there's one thing I can do, it's break something. I'm going to look at RPM and Lonestar's sites.
