I accidently removed these nothing happed when I removed them just wanted to know what they were to and if they needed torqued before I ride it again just in case. They were on the right side of the motor if sitting on the quad and have a allen wrench depresion in the middle of them.

that is where your clutch adjustmant is! it wont hurt anything ,just make sure there tight when you put them back

he said allen head !!! correct me if I'm wrong but the oil filter has reg hex head bolts to remove

 

Actually I think that is for the oil filter. Last time i changed my oil filter i had to take off three bolts. Are they shaped in a traingle together?

Its right above the footpeg.

 

I just checked my service manual and the hex shaped thing in the middle of the 3 nuts is the clutch adjuster cap. The 3 bolts are the Clutch Release Guide nuts. It doesn't have an torque numbers, just says to tighten them.

The pattern of three, above the other pattern of three, is for the clutch. The lower pattern of three, is the oil filter cover.
