Default Best Pipe for LT250R???

I've been doing some research online for the best pipe from manufacturers but I don't know if they're giving me a straight answer so I thought I would ask you guys about your pipes, etc.....CT Racing claims 8-9 HP increase, Paul Turner Racing claims 10-15% over entire power band, and FTZ is claiming only 6-8 HP with their pipe and their 39/41.5 mm carb added on.....so who do you guys think I should go with??.....I'm going to get this dynoed so I'll post my results....

1987 LT250R
36 mm PJ Carb
Twin Air racing filter
FMF Silencer
Bored .060 over
Boysen Pro Series Reeds
Reed Spacer
14 tooth sprocket
Aftermarket Suspension

Try to find a LRD pipe they were supposedly the best pipe for the LT, and Paul Turners are also good.

I have an LRD pipe now and it is far better than an fmf or similar pipe. LRD is more of a drag pipe with ton of top end. I have the adjustable pipe but top end is best even when it is set to have more bottom . Buy an LRD you wont be dissapointed.

Your engine has to be built correctly for the pipe, a certain pipe will work better than another
depending on your porting and intake and then on a different quad the results could be opposite
depending on how the engine is built.

mahnster, take a hop over to New Prague and see how an FTZ pipe runs.

Hey Ron, i emailed you a few times about your quad, remember me? yeah i would like to buy yours but i dont have the money and a kid wants to trade me my mojave for his lt and i cant pass it up, but i might have someone else to buy my mo and if they do i will probably get yours if its still for sale. I never said any pipes were better than others i just go by what i have heard so far, when i get my lt i will try some out if i have any money left.
