Anyone ever hear if a Warrior shock will fit on a 90 LT ? My rear shock needs doesnt need to be charged it needs new seals etc and the dealer says he cant get any. I heard from somewhere that a Warrior shock would fit.

Anyone have any experience with this

Heres a round about way of answering. I have heard that a raptor shock will fit on a 300ex. the 300ex shock is 14.5 inches long, and my LT250 shock is 14.5 inches long. If the Raptor and warrior(Both made by Yamaha) use the same rear shock, then I suppose it will work.

In a roundabout way are you telling me that you currently have a 300ex rear shock on your LT ?

Most suspension shops can do it. It isn't that hard to do so I would get a Suzuki shop manual and do it yourself. All you will have to do is get the nitrogen charged at the local dealer. The seals, bushing etc can still be obtained from Race-tech. (www.race-tech.com) If you insist on having someone else do it I HIGHLY recomend a company called MX-Tech. The can do everything form basic re-builds as well as custom valving jobs. The do excellent work, and have fast turn around and very fair pricing. The owner, Jeremy Wilkey, does a ton of the supercross works setups, and is one of KTM's head suspension guys. Their website is www.mx-tech.com

Hope that helps

Man its gonna cost me a fortune to buy those parts and then send it away and have it installed etc.....

Would be much cheaper for me to buy a used Warrior or 300ex rear shock if it would fit.....Hey JFisher, have you heard of either of those fitting...the guy above says the 300ex shock is 14.5 and the kyb shock is 14.5....

Thanks for your help.....if all else fails im gonna bring my shock to the local dealer again so he can see exactly what i need and have him order from this place..
