vinson 5-spd vs. wolverine
#1
I was wondering how these 2 fourwheelers would compare. I have a 2000 wolverine and i was thinkin about gettin a vinson 5spd. This looks like a sporty fourwheeler but how would it be against a sport 4x4?

I have had a wolverine and now own a 5 speed vinson. I used to like the sporty feel of the Wolverine.. The Vinson is a tad bit faster though it doesnt seem like it due to the more plush ride. The vinson seems way bigger of a ride then the Yama. The two things that set the vinson apart from the Wolverine is that it has 2 and 4 wheel drive and the fact that there is Low and high gear, Otherwise i liked them both. If only Yamaha would get of their butts and Update the popular Wolverine to a say, 500 with 2 and four wheel drive. Now that would be a hell of a ride.

im thinkin maybe a 450 or 400 but it should be a trailified version of the yfz lol like they did with the 350 from the warrior. more power would be nice but it should stay small and agile. Ive ridden big 4x4s and i dont like how big they are. I can ride em but it isnt as much fun and they dont handle the same.

Wolvie 348cc vinnie 493cc
Suzukis new quads have a smaller feel to them. Kinda like the 600 class of street bikes, Not as much muscle but the size makes em more agile.
The only drawback to the vinnie is the price. $600 less than the big boys. $1300 more than the 400 class.
Typical yamaha, lagging behind the rest of the pack but when they get their a$$ in gear they built some exciting stuff. I think the new Bruin is an early indication that they are starting to throw some R&D money to the atv side.
