someone asked me if my Pul Turner Pipe was the best for my bike. I didn't know, because before my P. Turner I have only had a stock pipe. My pipe was given to me by a professional Racer "Davy", so i assumed it was the best.
Which pipe do you think is the best for a quadracer?

it's all opinion. anything is better than stock. different pipes are for different things. Low-Mid-or top end. I have a PT and think its the best pipe in the world but my buddy runs a dynoport and thinks its the best. FMF will tell you their pipe is the best as will DG. Its all opinions.
The best pipe for your quad is what is in your price range. Whatever gives you the best bang for the buck.

I had an FMF in on my first '92 quadracer that was OK. I really liked the nickel plated finish on it, and it added to performance for sure. I now have an FTZ on my second '92, but I also have motor work done so it's really not a fair comparison.
Any pipe is definately better than the stocker. I hear a lot of good about LRD pipes also.
Believe this or not, on my first quadracer (86 model) I simply cut the factory pipe in 3 sections and gutted it. They had insulation in there with steel mesh holding it in place which obviously was very restrictive. I removed all that stuff and had it welded back up and it made a world of difference. It was free power!
