27" will ROB you of power!! If you go to a bigger size you should look into a clutch kit. 27"ers are prolly gonna be 10"wide on the front and they are gonna add a lot of weight. Prolly should look at some lighter rims too.

Welcome to the forums. Where ya from, Al?

I'd look at the 26" with the clutch kit.

Those 26" mudlites look great! And on the C-series rims they look awsome.

My daughter's roommate in college is from Overland park. (I have no idea where that is except the NCAA is headquartered there).

Before you spend any money on tires, get a service manual and an in-line fuel filter.(and not in that order!!)

i agree with eiger2, 27 rob power, that was my decideing factor for going with the 26 ers if i put mud lites on my vinson i would probley go with 28's being they are lite. if you want to go with 27's you may want to pipe it, jet it, and k&N filter duty, for more hp to the ground.

Its kinda like painting the house. Next you need new shutters, then curtains, and bushes, and carpet, and light fixtures, and new blocks under the cars, , etc.

Get the 26"ers, you'll love em!
