This ould be a number of things.
Check if you actually are getting spark by taking your plug out and touching it against something metal while kicking it over... It should be a crisp blue spark.
Flooding issue-
Your Carb floats could be stuck. Take your carb off and clean it out. Make sure nothing is stuck in the Jets. Also make sure your floats are working proberly and are adjusted properly.Check the needle valve to see if thats working properly.
One more thing to check is your reeds....Make sure your reeds are in good condition with no cracks or chips. If a piece of reed is missing , this may be why you are flooding out . What happens is your air fuel mixture gets sucked into your motor and if your reeds are broken it will just be forced back out into your carb, making it flood. This will also flood your motor and making it seem like your not getting spark becuase you plug is probably soaked with fuel.
Make sure all your wires are conected properly. You may also need to have your CDI box Tested. Take it to your local Suzuki dealer. They should test it for free. If they charge you..."THEY SUCK" lol
I hope this helps....

I agree with Zig, but try a new spark plug also just in case the plug is bad.
The flooding is your floats. Since they seem to be stuck open clean the whole carb, Just like Zig said
The last thing is your stator?
What happened to your Zilla when it died?

hi thanks for the info ive sorted the carb problem one of the floats was solid and wouldnt move.as to getting the cdi checked by a suzuki dealer its gonna be fun as theyre like gold dust up this way.also i bought the zilla as a basket case the guy before me thought it would be fun to strip apart for the fun of it and 5 yrs later still hadnt managed to fix it so he flogged it as a dead horse which aint no fun for me no more as all my parts come from japan and take about 8 wks at a time for the parts.i also priced a cdi unit here in the uk and it works out at $490 so i hope it aint that
if ure in the uk and got a zilla it sucks

As they stated E bay is your best choice you could also put one on from a lt250 they are usaully
cheaper. Just watch it if your motor is stock because the rev limiter is higher.
