What i would suggest is to go with FMF or White Brothers. You can go to www.bikebandit.com and go to after market parts and fill in the drop-down menu's and find the pipes you want. They got other types as well. I have a answer exhaust slip on pipe on mine, its loud, if thats what you want. The FMF fatty costs 199.99 at www.fmfracing.com , but at bikebandit, its like 179.99.Its' no silencer, but it looks good, i'm thinking of getting it. More power added too. Keep in mind though, the fatty is the header, it is the add on that will give you POWER, silencer does not if any give POWER.

My bad, i'm sorry, i was thinking the z400 was a 2-stroke, sorry. You can put on the FMF power ore 4 which is 242.99, or the FMF power bomb which is 170.99. There is 2 more, so go to http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandi...675&sel_path=3 and it will how you all of them. I think the exhaust not the header is a spark arrestor. I'm not really sure what you mean about to jet carb?
