Throtle cable?
#2
Is this for a Lt500r?????
Its very simple..... Is the old one still on? Just put it on the same way.... Open up the throttle cover. Loosen up the cable a bit with the adjustment screws on the thumb throttle body. Take out the cable(you may need a set of needle nose pliers. If your cable has a removeable end ,SAVE IT ,dont lose it!!you will need it.
Now unhook your cable from frame zip ties, or whatever you have holing it to your frame.
Now loosen up your carb from on the reed boot and the airbox boot.
Twist it sideways so you can get to the top of the carb easy.
Uncrew the top of the carb, becareful there is a large spring in there.....
now with it open you can look inside and see that the cable runs threw a large spring and a plastic clip thats in there. Make a note how the little plastic clip sits in the carb ,because thats exactly how you have to have it when you install the new cable. You might need a long narrow screwdriver to work this little plastic clip free.
Once its free you will be able to unhook the old cable and pull it out.
Now put your new one in the same way.
