just put a KN AIR FILTRE on and DYNOJETkit in.going to try it out later today ,when i was putting the jets in i noticed that the air box that is behind the carb was loose ,i inspected it iand found that the motor mount behind the carb was snapped off,also the mount on the engine head was broke also,took them out and welded them .anyone else,i dont baby my bike but i try not to missuse it either .i have never hit the bike hard enough to do that but it did happen

tried the bike out and bottom end was a big improvement,but the top end was the same or maybe a little better ,59 mph tops
took the plug out after and was light brown so the jetting is right ,now do u mean that u broke motor mounts off too wheu u said same here

yes i have brokein my mounts before, mabey i should not launch a 800lb quad??? hmm, nah what fun would that be, heck thats why i got the sickest rm in town, i gotta update my profile with the modds i found this thing has.

Bent my frame( really bad) but never had the motor mounts break, and I beat my vinson like it were a red headed step child!!

does anyone know how i can get some more speed on the top end ,rejetted the carb and installed KNair filtre ,big gain on the bottom end but no gain on the top end.took the wire off of the spark arrestor and no difference ,then removed the sprark arrestor and still no difference.will a new pipe help any ,if so what brand do u recommend
any suggestions will be appreciated

a pipe would help you get to top end quicker, again as i have said before, wait for the HMF eco systems to arrive, about 2weeks now(i hope) reason is my hmf-no quiet core-is just, a little bit too loud for me, and others.

no problem, i have a few more ways to get more top end such as a fst, or web cam. i will get back, being this is very hard for me to type on my pocket pc at the air port.

Hi Swivelneck I just install a jet and filter kit myself on an '02 Vinson I was wondering if you could tell me what you set your air screw, needle and what size main jet you installed. I installed a 118 main, 3 turns out on air and slot 3 on the needle. Please respond thanks skraps
