hes talking about the stock bore of the 400.any modded lt250 should beat a z400 granted both have good traction.the lt's have more horsepower piped than the Z piped and they are lighter and 6 speed(87+).

 

thank you needaR, anyway by buddy's 400ex beat me but he is fully modded and I have only a silencer and power reeds. I think with a fatty pipe it would make a HUGE difference for my lt. I am currently scanning ebay for one by the way. But I need something that will work with my stock midpipe/dg silencer...later

 

well i was expectin more people to say i was gonna win...u people are makin me nervous. That thing does have a lot of torque, but doesnt seem as crazy as mine on the top end. Oh yea...and he isnt exactly piped, he is jetted for a pipe and put the stock pipe back on with the core removed. Does the 250 have enough power to take off on pavement well with it in 2nd? Or have most of u found it best to take off in 1st? I know the other post said the 500 is best in 2nd..

 

the quadracer will beat the z400 because i have an 86 with a completely stock motor and i beat a raptor. all these quadracers that cant are just old and are in need of a tune up. if it is running good it will beat the z400 no problem with the right rider.
