Default Stock tires on Z400

I am just wondering what everyone thinks about the stock tires on the Z. Do most of you like them. Have you had problems with getting stuck in mud or your tires being slashed by rocks. If I was to get new tires for my Z what type do you recommend?

They are a pretty sturdy tire. I have ridden in some nasty areas and found that they hold up well. Road handling is acceptable and good grip in the trails, almost too much. They hook up really well in the sand. Better than some molded paddles, IMO.

I went to a really muddy place the other week. I was with two other utilities, and went everywhere they did. The tires worked amazingly well. They were surprised I kept up with them.

I'm going to Silver Lake in Michian in mid-July. I'm hoping by then to have a full pipe system (either HMF or White Bros E-series, opinions?) and some paddles. GOing to be unreal.

I should have the bike broken in by the end of this month.
