what kind of mantenice is need for the z400 is it ok if i run premium gas in it or should i use octane and where do i get it. what kind of oil should i use. stuff like that

 

Pump gas Amsoil 10w-40 is what I use.

U get 93 octane at the store. 87 89 93 all at the store.
No need to mix oil in gas on a 4-stroke.

Even though lol I did put dirtbike premix in my riding lawn mower a couple times,didn't feel like going to the store.
It smelled good too like a supercross was going on in my yard.Didn't hurt it eather.Shes like 23 years old too...

whats the compression on a stock kawasuki cat? i know from experiance that to much octane fuel will hurt yer performance if it doesnt have high enough compression. -nathan

 

Yea to much octane can hurt too.But I think 93 is ok since I have used it all my life with no problem.From dirt bikes to utility atv's.

The compression ratio on the 04 KFX400 is 11.3 : 1

 

what kind of store do u buy it at. how much is it, and u just pure it in the gas tank with nothing else
