I know a couple guys have them but I cant find them(the riders). The local shop tells me the fronts are the same as the back - 26/10/12. This seems a little big to me. Will they clear the winch.
I'm looking at the 26"ers and the EPI clutch kit.

A buddy of mine put 25/8-12's on the front and 25/10-12's on the back of
his Prairie and he really likes them. Very trailable and go through mud
well too. He had the 589's, and couldnt stay on the machine when trail
riding. They just ride too rough!
I looked in a DK catalog, and it doesnt look they offer any other size than
what you said for a 26".
I plan on maybe putting a set of these on my Vinson though!

A couple of my buddies run 589s and they are badass tires. I looked at the mud lite 25"ers but they dont have a very deep lug, about the same as the stock dunflops. But the 26"ers have a lug bout the same as the 589. The 589s are like riding on railroad ties at slow speeds but they are like mountain magnets too!
Ronnies has 26/9/12 in stock but the shipping is $50. And they're $7 per tire higher than the local guy.

They 26x9x12's are not available. A few companies still have the part number listed but no chance of ordering them. I just picked up some Mudlites for my vinson. I have pipe jet kit, clutch and a couple other things. Ill give you guys a review later on.

I have a 03 Eiger manual with 26" Mudlites for a year now. I have 26-10-12 in front and 26-12-12 in the rear. These tires are great! All the other people I ride with still have stock tires and they keep on getting flats. I have no problem cause of the 6ply tire. These things are most excellent in the mud. My bike just crawls through the mud where everyone else just sits there and spin like crazy. I recommend anyone who is looking into getting a tire for some mud and trail riding to get Mudlites. I just got my bike back from the dealer. I had some carb. cleaning done and my bike was stuck in 4x4. They corrected everything in one day (adjusted the 4x4 lever and flushed the carb. They have been very good to me. Other than the few things I have just had done my bike has been great. Happy trails!

I have 26" Mudlites on an Auto Eiger. Just got them 2 weeks ago and found the 26x9x12 were still available, I put them on the front and 26x10x12 on the back. I did notice a power loss- gained some ground clearance, went through the Mudholes with no problems. Handles better on the trails. Good tires-Good price
