does anyone know if the owners manual for the 03 and 04 are the same. because when i bought my z i was told i was getting an 03 but i got an 04. i ordered a manual for the 03 and i already had it when i found out my z was a 04. yesterday i went to look how to adjust my chain and under maitenence it showed a different pic than what is on my quad. then i looked in the back of the book at an 04 section and it doesnt show how to adjust the chain.

can u answer these ?s

I would think the manuals are different. I do know the 2004 have a different way to adjust the chains on them. They also have a detachable grab bar unlike the 2003 models.

 

yes they are diff. The changed a couple diff things like the exhaust, chain adjustment,

 

yes i know there are some differences between the two bikes but are the owners manuals that u pay like 50-60 bucks for different or are they the same.
i figured out how to adjust the chain, my dad helped me

I also have an 04. I just adjusted my chain using the manual that came with my bike. I bought the service manual off ebay but didn't look at the chain section. Did your bike come with that little manual?

 

Are those manuals on CD any good? I hear that they are just copies and usually are pictures of different bikes and mostly just universal for all atvs and not your specific one.
